About Cooper Kauffman Ltd

Cooper Kauffman Ltd was formed in 1988 by the amalgamation of W.A. Kauffman & Associates and
Colin S. Cooper Associates Ltd, the former being the first quantity surveying practice established in the region in 1956. At the time of amalgamation, these were the two leading practices in Barbados and the islands of the Eastern Caribbean.

Since 1988, we have consciously built on the considerable capacity and experience of the two forerunner practices. We have continued to enhance our position at the forefront of the regional construction industry, through a combination of our proven and wide ranging experience, diversification of the services offered to our clients, the introduction of appropriate new technology, as well as highly motivated professionals.

The Directors

The Directors are all experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyors who are intimately involved in the provision of our services throughout the Caribbean. The Directors have at their disposal, a technical team, together with clerical support staff whose association with the firm predates the 1988 amalgamation.

Our services do not stop at the end of a building project, nor are they confined to building projects. We offer our clients on-going assistance during the lifetime of their properties by providing valuation services, principally to establish fixed asset values, market values and replacement costs for insurance purposes.
